Preparing your old books

Before we begin, you'll need to give your old books a quick tidy. Please take a look at our Pre-conversion Checklist Tasks to ensure your books are good to go and review the Help article.

Reset your QuickBooks account

To make room for the data we're moving, you'll need to remove any existing data in your QuickBooks file. To do this you'll need to reset your QuickBooks account to the default settings. If you don't, we won't be able to complete moving your data into QuickBooks and your move will be unsuccessful.

Don't use QuickBooks until the move is complete

Moving your books into QuickBooks can take up to 72 hours. While the move is in progress, any data added or imported through data feeds into QuickBooks will be lost.

Cash based records

Cash based records are currently not supported in our conversions.
